Slave Girl Comics was first published by Avon Periodicals in 1949. The series was very short lived and ended after just one more issue.

Slave Girl Comics was published five years before the formation of the Comics Code Authority and would not have passed their censorship with the overt sexual nature of the images and stories it contained.

Slave Girl's real name was Sandra Worth. Sandra faints after receiving a mystical ring and when she comes around she has been transported back in time and is now Malu, a slave girl.

The cover work was by Howard Larsen and story titles included, 'The Banquet of Thuz' and 'The Slave Market of Manoch'.
