This section holds some real treasures, including Blackhawk created by Will Eisner, Chuck Cuidera and Bob Powell. He originally appeared in Military Comics and we have that historic copy here to read in it entirety. We also have copies of his own title drawn by Reed Crandall.
Making his appearance in this collection is the hugely popular Don Winslow of the Navy. Originally created to aid recruitment to the navy, he also had his own radio show and even made it on to the big screen with a cliffhanger serial. Another military favorite was G.I. Joe, who always seemed to be wearing a flower in his helmet!
