Welcome to FuryComics.com Crime Collection!
Here you will find some of the comics that created a public outcry with their violence and gore. The motto for the publishers appeared to be, the bloodier the better. This eventually led to the creation of the Comics Code Authority and soon many of these titles were no more.
In this section you will find work by Charles Biro and Bob Wood, and also there are covers drawn by Matt Baker and Bob Lubbers.
There are familiar crime fighters like Lady Luck, created by Will Eisner and T-Man, who must be the only U.S. Treasury agent ever to have his own title.
There are also characters with whom you might not be so familiar, such as Dan Turner 'Hollywood Detective' created by Robert Bellem and Sally the Sleuth created by Adolphe Barreaux.
So, if you have the stomach for the blood and violence, step back to a time of gangsters, gun molls and the ultimate deterrent, the electric chair.
